International Christian Institute & Linguistics School was originally The International Theological Seminary and Bible School which was established in 1980.  The founding president, Dr. Edward B. Adams envisioned an educational program whose purpose was to integrate religious, educational, and scientific subjects with the word of God. The goal was to provide one year of comprehensive training for Christian life and service. In December of 1987, The International Theological Seminary and Bible School merged with Christian College of America and became International Christian Institute. The name International was chosen in an effort to identify with the multi-cultural population of Houston and with the objective to meet the needs of the community.

The International Christian Institute now offers intensive English classes to eligible non F-1 students interested in improving their English skills. International Christian Institute & Linguistics School’s goal is to provide a dynamic learning environment for ESL/ESOL students that unites the highest quality of English language education with the promotion of spiritual growth while maintaining a high degree of ethical standards.
